Custom Quartz Overview

Engineered quartz surfaces are engineered for commercial, hospitality, and multi-family residential applications requiring uniform physical performance and tailored aesthetic parameters. Quartzyard operates an automated quartz manufacturing facility equipped with Breton vacuum-vibration pressing systems. We engineer quartz slabs and cut-to-size components to match specific architectural specifications, color targets, and performance standards.

Standard Slab Dimensions: 3200 x 1600 mm, 3000 x 1400 mm
Available Thicknesses: 15 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm
Production Capacity: 12 automated production lines, 4,000,000 m2 annual output
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): 1 x 20' GP per custom color/specification

Custom Colors & Patterns

Aesthetic alignment relies on precise pigment dispersion and mineral aggregate grading. Our color development laboratory formulates bespoke quartz patterns based on physical samples, Pantone codes, or architectural render specifications.

Aggregate Options: Pure white quartz sand, recycled glass shards, mirror chips, metallic flakes, and natural river stone fragments.

Veining Technologies:
Robot-assisted through-body veining: Penetrates the entire thickness of the slab, suitable for mitered edges and waterfalls.
Surface-layer printing & injection: Replicates complex natural marble patterns with controlled depth.
Finish Tones: Solid monochromatic palettes, fine-grain fine-sparkle series, and multi-mineral complex breccia styles.

Custom Surface Finishes

Surface texture directly impacts tactile experience, light reflectance, and maintenance protocols. We apply mechanical and chemical treatments to achieve consistent surface properties across large production batches.

01/

Polished: High gloss level (>= 50 gloss units), dense micro-structure sealed against liquid penetration.

02/

Honed / Matte: Low light reflectance (5 - 15 gloss units), velvety texture, treated with anti-fingerprint sealants.

03/

Leathered / Brushed: Textured topography highlighting crystal structures, slip-resistant, mechanically brushed using diamond abrasive heads.

04/

Concrete / Concrete-feel: Low-sheen industrial tactile finish with enhanced scratch disguise properties.

Custom Slab Specifications

B2B procurement requires strict adherence to dimensional tolerances and structural integrity. Every custom production run complies with international architectural standards.

Sample Matching & Color Development

Color consistency between initial samples and mass-produced containers prevents costly project delays. Our protocol ensures transparent evaluation prior to volume manufacturing.

1

Reference Submission

Clients submit physical color swatches (minimum 100 x 100 mm) or specify RAL/Pantone references.

2

Lab Formulation

R&D engineers analyze mineral composition and resin-to-quartz ratios (standard ratio: 93% natural quartz to 7% unsaturated polyester resin).

3

Prototype Slab (A/B Samples)

300 x 300 mm master samples are produced and shipped via DHL/FedEx within 7 business days for client sign-off.

4

Batch Lock-in

Approved physical samples are sealed in our vault as the master standard for subsequent production runs, eliminating cross-batch variance.

OEM & ODM Quartz

We partner with international stone brands, distributors, and large-scale fabricators to supply private-label quartz collections.

OEM Services

Manufacturing according to client-owned formulas, designs, and branding specifications. Includes custom laser-etched back stamping on slabs with client logos, lot numbers, and barcodes.

ODM Services

Joint development of exclusive regional collections based on emerging interior design trends. Our design team introduces 15+ new proprietary patterns annually.

Packaging Customization

Fumigated wooden bundles, A-frames, or horizontal packing labeled with client SKU codes and shipping marks.

Custom Manufacturing Process

Our facility integrates raw material grading, automated mixing, vacuum pressing, thermal curing, and precision calibration.

Vacuum-Vibration Pressing

Operates under a vacuum pressure of -0.1 MPa coupled with high-frequency vibration to eliminate interior air voids and ensure a compaction density exceeding 98%.

Thermal Curing

Slabs undergo a 45-minute curing cycle in thermal kilns at 85 degC to achieve complete cross-linking of the polyester resin matrix.

Automated Inspection

High-resolution optical scanners detect surface pinholes, micro-cracks, and foreign particle contamination before packaging.

Applications for Custom Quartz

Engineered quartz surfaces accommodate a wide range of vertical and horizontal interior architectural applications.

Commercial Kitchens & Hospitality

Restaurant bar tops, hotel reception desks, buffet islands requiring NSF-certified food contact safety.

Multi-Family Residential

Kitchen countertops, vanity tops, shower walls, and custom window sills delivered as cut-to-size packages.

Corporate & Retail

Conference room tables, elevator wall cladding, interior wainscoting, and high-traffic display counters.

FAQ

Q: What is your typical lead time for custom color development?

A: Color formulation and sample delivery take 7 to 10 working days. Upon sample approval, mass production requires 15 to 20 days depending on order volume.

Q: Can you handle cut-to-size fabrication alongside custom slab production?

A: Yes. We operate a CNC waterjet and bridge-saw fabrication workshop capable of delivering pre-fabricated vanity tops, mitered aprons, sink cutouts, and edge profiles (e.g., eased, bullnose, bevel) based on CAD shop drawings.

Q: What certifications do your quartz products carry?

A: Our products are tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 (Food Equipment Materials), Greenguard Gold (Low Chemical Emissions), CE marking, and ISO 9001 quality management standards.

Q: How do you prevent transit damage for international container shipments?

A: Slabs are packed in heavy-duty fumigated wooden bundles secured with steel banding and corner protectors. Anti-slip rubber strips are placed between slabs to prevent friction scratching during ocean transport.
